All Ireland Camogie Champions

History was made by Drumgoon Camogie club last weekend, when they brought four all ireland winners medals to the club. A hearty congratulations to our four heros. On Saturday evening last in Markievicz  Park, Sligo four Drumgoon Eire Og players, Laura Fox, Alannah Clarke, Rachel Tierney, & Charley Norris, were all part of the Cavan minor camogie squad, who defeated Mayo, in the All Ireland minor C, Camogie final, on a scoreline of Cavan 2-05, Mayo 0-08. Many hours of training on Boyle Park and Breffni Park, paid off for the girls and their managements teams. Every Monday and Thursday evenings, both pitches are full with camog girls of every age group enjoying themselves.
