Played just after a torrential downpour, Drumgoon men made light of the slippery conditions and led the game from start to finish against an understrength Shercock side. A positive feature of the game was the welcome return to the playing fields of Paddy Smith and Donal Keappock, after fully recovering from long term injuries.
