Uachtarán CLG, Aogán Ó Fearghaíl hosts Drumgoon Éire Óg club in Croke Park
On a brilliant Tuesday evening in Dublin, GAA President, Aogán Ó Fearghaíl, hosted his native club in Croke Park.
Two bus loads travelled and the group of 150 people, thoroughly enjoyed their evening.
The President welcomed the group, where they received a cup of tea at the museum. The group then toured the museum and grounds.
All players, past and present, male and female, then togged out, and each got to play on the hollowed turf of Croke Park.
The players thoroughly enjoyed the experience of togging out in the same dressing rooms, as so many famous teams have done and then running out onto the pitch. The group then made their way up to the skyline, and enjoyed the views of the city from the tops of the Cusack and Hogan stands.,
The group were then treated to a fabulous meal in the Hogan stand restaurant, followed by music and a sing song.
Two happy bus loads then sang their way home, all the way to Drumgoon.
